Compact 2-roll Nonwoven Calender with Hot S-Roll

In the past years the requirements of the nonwoven industry have developed into two opposite directions. Extremely high production capacities and speeds demand a calender technology that is geared to the maximum burden limit without any problems. Not every process, however, takes places in the higher performance range.
For carding or spunbonding lines with production speeds of up to 400 m/min ANDRITZ Küsters offers an adequate alternative with the and the proven deflection controlled Hot S-Roll technology.

Roll technology:
- system roll: Hot S-Roll 200 or 250
- standard counter roll: oil-heated roll with central bore
- thermal oil: only one type of oil for all rolls
