Compacting and Calibrating Calender with CS-Roll

A special product from the family of heated Swimming Rolls is the CS-Roll, a deflection controlled calibrating roll which is primarily used in the airlaid industry.

Through compacting and calibrating with the thickness reduction, slight pre-bonding, reduction of trapped air and a precise definition of material thickness can be attained. These properties can be achieved by an adjustable gap which can be set under running production. In this way larger quantities of waste can be avoided when starting production.
