Smooth Liquor Operation

neXdos automatic

Established processes or wet finishing of nonwovens demand tailor-made solutions for liquor supply and handling.
ANDRITZ Küsters make it possible to process and dose different chemicals in solid as well as liquid forms in their machines. neXdossystems are individuelly customised according to the requirements of the chemicals used and the wishes of the customer.
All systems, whether fully-automatic dosing or as a manual version, have a simple and clear layout of the dosing tasks with visualisation units in PLC technology.

It's not just the Dosing!

The precise dosing of the individual liquor components is the precondition for every wet finishing process. However, the intelligent handling of the liquor and its individual properties guarantees successful processes and the reproducibility of the process paramenters. ANDRITZ Küsters neXdossystems are tuned to the special reuirements of the liquor. Below are a few examples:

Goal Design/Action
- prevent foam formation - level-controlled mixers
   - liquor feed below the liquor level
   - liquor barriers at the outlets

- constant viscosity - controlled liquor temperature

- careful treatment of shear-sensitive liquors - use of suitable pumps (low mechanical stress)

- prevent fungal and bacterial decay

-
-

constant liquor circulation
low optimised liquor guiding
- prevent stickiness and build-up - prevention of dead zones
    - smooth tubing with gas-welded seams
   - optimised cleaning process through good accessibility
