Wetlaid Technology Andritz Küsters, together with our cooperation partner Pill Nassvliestechnik GmbH, offers tailor-made solutions for the wetlaid technology. The types of fibres which can be used are as manifold as are the areas of application. Renewable fibres, such as cotton, wool, hemp, jute, as well as coconut fibres, are just as well suited as are viscose, PET, PP, aramid fibres or even fibres made of glass, wood, ceramics and metal.  The core of our wetlaid technology is the , a combination of round distributor, headbox and inclined wire part.

Nonwoven Calenders In the production of nonwovens a high degree of process optimisation and added value can be achieved by innovative calender technology. Be it thermobonding of nonwovens or other processes, such as embossing, perforating, thermolaminating or calibrating: the efficiency of the roll technology is crucial for the final product. Finishing of Nonwovens The demands on modern nonwovens and their manufacturing process are steadily increasing. By finishing processes nonwovens acquire manifold functionalities and a marked added value. Based on decades of experience in the wet finishing of textiles we have now extended our product range for the nonwoven industry. Our  range extends from low add on via padder technology to high efficiency dewatering, dosing systems and measuring technique.
